Buy Online Pick Up in Store allows you to buy items online and then conveniently pick them up at your local Petsense store. You avoid shipping and online delivery charges for items designated as “Pickup in store” on the website.
These are the steps for “Buy Online Pick Up In Store”
While shopping online, select “Pickup in store” for eligible item/s
Select the store where you would like to pick up your item/s
Place your order and wait to receive a "Ready for Pickup” e-mail. This is a separate e-mail from your order confirmation and is the indication that the order is actually ready for pick up.
Bring your driver’s license or a government-issued ID, “Ready for Pick Up" email and order number to the store. Head to the registers located at the front of the store or ask a Store Associate for assistance.
We'll hold your items at the store for 5 days. If you don't make it in by then, we'll cancel the order and you will not be charged for the item(s).
Is Buy Online Pick Up in Store available in my area? Buy Online Pick Up In Store is available in all stores. Look for the “Pickup in store” option on the product page.
Who can pick up the order? You can pick up your order yourself or you can designate another person to pick up your order by entering their contact information in the "Pickup Contact" section during checkout.
What do I need to bring at time of pick up? The designated pickup person needs to bring a driver’s license or a government issued ID, and to help expedite the pickup please bring the “Ready for Pickup” email.
Will my vehicle be large enough to transport my item? This will depend on the item you are ordering, but please make sure your vehicle is large enough to fit your purchase for transport. Don’t forget to bring tie-downs or bungie cords to secure your larger items such as kennels or pet igloos! For your safety, Petsense Store Associates are happy to load your merchandise; however you are responsible for securing your loaded product. As with your smaller items, large or bulk items will still require you to go into the store.
What products are eligible to pick up in the store? Look for “Pickup In Store” on the product pages for items that are available to be bought online and picked up in the store.
How will I know when my item(s) are ready for pick up in the store? You will receive an email indicating that your order is ready for pick up once we verify that the item is in sellable condition. You can pick up the item as soon as you receive the email. NOTE: This is a separate e-mail from your order confirmation. Once you have received the email letting you know the order is ready to be picked up, you can go to the store anytime during normal store hours. Please check the store hours on our website.
