The Cascade™ 170 Internal Filter is a fully submersible filtration system designed for aquariums, turtle tanks, and select terrarium applications. Delivering mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration, it helps maintain a clean and healthy aquatic environment while cycling water at 45 gallons per hour, making it ideal for tanks up to 10 gallons. The filter includes an internal Bio-Sponge that traps debris and supports the growth of beneficial bacteria for enhanced biological filtration. Adjustable flow control and a directional flow nozzle allow for customized water movement, while the built-in Venturi aeration system oxygenates the water without the need for a separate air pump. Complete with an air tube and air muffler for improved aeration, the filter also features a customizable media chamber to accommodate additional filtration media as needed. Its compact design and four suction cups allow for secure horizontal or vertical installation, making it an excellent choice for nano aquariums, shrimp tanks, and other small aquatic habitats where space is limited.
